TOPWAY® BOX / CUSTOM CONTAINER ENCLOSURES

BESS Containers

TOPWAY® BOX supplies custom BESS containers for battery energy storage projects.

We develop the enclosure around your equipment layout, mounting loads, maintenance access and site requirements. The work focuses on the container structure and agreed auxiliary provisions, with interfaces coordinated to the battery system integrator’s specifications.

01 / APPLICATION

Enclosures for battery energy storage layouts

Battery rack and equipment zoning

Define the arrangement of battery racks and any separate equipment areas before fixing the enclosure dimensions. Rack access, component replacement routes and interface positions should be reviewed together.

Thermal-management coordination

Provide the cooling concept and supplier requirements so that equipment openings, mounting positions and service clearances can be considered in the enclosure design. Air cooling and liquid-cooling layouts require different interface information.

Outdoor installation and transport

Share the site environment, foundation arrangement and transport restrictions. These inputs guide discussion of corrosion protection, weather protection, lifting and on-site unloading.

02 / CONFIGURATION

BESS container structure and interface options

Rack foundations and base-frame design

Integrated equipment bases and local load-bearing provisions can be developed from rack footprints, weights and mounting details.

Doors, openings and internal layout

Custom door positions, reinforced equipment openings and internal layouts can be coordinated around maintenance access and the equipment installation sequence.

Cooling and electrical interfaces

The enclosure design can provide agreed openings and mounting provisions for cooling equipment, cable entry and electrical interfaces. The system integrator must supply the interface requirements.

Fire-protection coordination

Provide the project’s fire-protection design requirements for review of related openings, equipment mounting and enclosure provisions. Any fire rating or system certification must be agreed and supported by project-specific evidence.

Dimensions and surface protection

Custom length, width and height can be reviewed alongside transport limits, lifting conditions and the specified coating environment.

03 / SUPPLY SCOPE

Confirm the enclosure supply scope

The quotation should identify the container structure, doors, equipment bases, protection measures and any auxiliary provisions included. Batteries, PCS, BMS, cooling equipment and fire-protection systems are not assumed to be included. Responsibility for equipment selection, system integration, commissioning and project compliance must be defined separately.

04 / ENGINEERING BRIEF

What to send for a BESS enclosure quotation

  • General arrangement drawing with rack quantities, footprints and maintenance clearances.
  • Equipment weights, mounting points and floor or base-frame loading information.
  • Cooling concept, heat-rejection equipment layout and required openings or penetrations.
  • Cable-entry locations, fire-protection interface requirements and any equipment separation requirements.
  • Target external dimensions, site environment, destination and lifting or unloading restrictions.
  • Required quantity, project schedule and a clear list of customer-supplied versus enclosure-supplier items.

05 / QUESTIONS

BESS Containers FAQ

Does the BESS container include batteries, PCS and BMS?

These items are not included by default. TOPWAY® BOX’s scope is the enclosure and the items expressly listed in the quotation. Send the equipment schedule so that supply and interface responsibilities can be agreed.

Can BESS container dimensions be customized?

Custom dimensions are within our structural design capabilities. The proposed size needs to be reviewed against the equipment arrangement, access requirements, transport route and handling method. No fixed usable capacity is implied by a container size.

Can the enclosure accommodate liquid-cooling interfaces?

Share the cooling equipment layout, pipe routes, penetration details and maintenance requirements. These can be reviewed as part of the enclosure’s interface planning; the cooling system supply and performance are separate scope items.

Is a BESS container supplied with a complete system certification?

Do not assume that an enclosure quotation includes certification of the complete energy storage system. Required standards, testing, documentation and responsible parties must be specified and confirmed for the project.

Plan your BESS container enclosure

Send your battery rack layout and interface requirements to begin an enclosure scope review. If the system layout is still developing, identify the dimensions and equipment data already available.
