TOPWAY® BOX / CUSTOM CONTAINER ENCLOSURES

Diesel Generator Containers

TOPWAY® BOX manufactures diesel generator containers around the genset’s structural, ventilation and service requirements.

We develop the enclosure, equipment base and agreed openings using information supplied by the generator manufacturer or system integrator. The generator set and its operating performance remain separate from the container enclosure scope.

01 / APPLICATION

Coordinate the enclosure with the generator set

Engine and alternator access

Map routine servicing and major component removal before selecting the door arrangement. The enclosure layout should follow the actual equipment maintenance requirements.

Cooling-air and exhaust interfaces

Provide the generator supplier’s ventilation arrangement and exhaust interface requirements. These determine where enclosure openings and structural provisions need to be reviewed.

Vibration and installation conditions

Share the genset mounting arrangement, support loads and proposed vibration-isolation details. The base frame, foundation interface and transport restraints should be coordinated with the equipment design.

02 / CONFIGURATION

Generator container customization

Genset base and structural support

Integrated equipment bases and heavy-equipment foundation design can be developed from the genset mounting drawing and load information.

Air inlet and discharge openings

Reinforced openings and mounting provisions can be planned around the supplier’s cooling-air arrangement. Required airflow and allowable restrictions must come from the equipment design.

Exhaust penetrations and interfaces

The location and structural support requirements for exhaust interfaces can be reviewed with the specialist supplier. Exhaust components, insulation and installation responsibilities must be stated in the supply scope.

Service doors and equipment access

Custom doors, openings and internal layouts can support the agreed servicing and replacement plan.

Environmental protection and acoustic requirements

Provide weather, corrosion and any noise-control requirements at the inquiry stage. Acoustic components, targets and verification methods require project-specific agreement; no standard noise-reduction figure is assumed.

03 / SUPPLY SCOPE

Confirm the enclosure supply scope

The enclosure package can cover the structure, equipment base, doors, reinforced openings and agreed interface provisions. The engine, alternator, controls, fuel system, exhaust system, cooling equipment and vibration isolators are not assumed to be included. Any acoustic treatment or performance target must be expressly specified and verified under agreed conditions.

04 / ENGINEERING BRIEF

Send the genset data with your enquiry

  • Generator make/model, overall dimensions, operating weight and mounting drawing.
  • Cooling-air arrangement, inlet and discharge requirements, and heat-rejection data.
  • Exhaust outlet location and the specialist supplier’s interface requirements.
  • Service clearances, lifting or removal routes and planned vibration-isolation details.
  • Fuel, cable and other interface locations, with clear supply responsibilities.
  • Site environment, any acoustic target and test conditions, foundation details, transport limits and quantity.

05 / QUESTIONS

Diesel Generator Containers FAQ

Does the container include the diesel generator?

The generator set is not included by default. The container quotation should list the supplied enclosure items and identify the equipment, installation and commissioning responsibilities of other parties.

Can ventilation openings be made to suit a genset?

Opening arrangements can be customized using the generator supplier’s airflow and equipment layout requirements. Their size and position must be coordinated with structural design and any agreed acoustic provisions.

Is a noise-reduction rating included?

No fixed decibel reduction is claimed. If the project requires acoustic performance, provide the target, measurement conditions and operating conditions so the scope and verification method can be discussed.

What information is needed for the equipment base?

Provide the genset weight, support locations, mounting details and vibration-isolation arrangement, together with relevant operating and transport load requirements supplied by the equipment engineer.
