TOPWAY® BOX / CUSTOM CONTAINER ENCLOSURES

Data Center Containers

TOPWAY® BOX supplies data center containers as structural enclosures for data infrastructure projects.

We coordinate container dimensions, rack foundations, access routes and cooling or cable-interface provisions around the project layout. Data centre containers are configured to the agreed enclosure scope; IT equipment and a complete operating data center are not included by default.

01 / APPLICATION

Coordinate racks, service space and cooling interfaces

Rack installation and servicing

Provide rack footprints, loaded weights and service clearances. The layout should account for rack installation, door access and replacement routes before the enclosure size is fixed.

Air-cooled equipment layouts

Share the intended airflow arrangement and cooling equipment positions. Container openings and equipment mounting provisions can then be reviewed against the integrator’s cooling design.

Liquid-cooling interface coordination

Identify the location of cooling distribution equipment, pipe entries and service zones. The enclosure requirements should be developed from the cooling supplier’s interface drawings.

02 / CONFIGURATION

Custom enclosure provisions for data infrastructure

Rack support and base structure

Equipment bases and local load-bearing provisions can be reviewed using the rack layout, loaded weights and fixing details.

Service access and equipment openings

Door locations, reinforced openings and internal layouts can be tailored to the planned equipment installation and maintenance sequence.

Cooling penetrations and mounting provisions

Ventilation, air-conditioning and piping interface planning can support the integrator’s cooling arrangement. Equipment supply and cooling performance require separate confirmation.

Power and communications routes

Agreed cable-entry and equipment interface provisions can be incorporated using the project’s routing requirements. Electrical and communications systems must be itemized separately.

External envelope and handling

Insulation, weather-protection and corrosion-protection requirements can be reviewed with transport dimensions, lifting methods and site unloading conditions.

03 / SUPPLY SCOPE

Confirm the enclosure supply scope

The enclosure quotation should define the structural shell, equipment bases, access arrangements and specified interface provisions. Servers, racks, network equipment, UPS, power distribution, cooling systems, controls and fire-protection systems are not assumed to be included. System integration, commissioning, uptime performance and any data center certification or rating require separate agreement and evidence.

04 / ENGINEERING BRIEF

Prepare your data center enclosure requirements

  • Rack layout, rack dimensions, loaded weights and fixing locations.
  • Required service clearances and equipment delivery or replacement routes.
  • Air-cooling or liquid-cooling concept and interface drawings.
  • Power, communications and piping entry locations.
  • Site environment, foundation arrangement and any required enclosure specifications.
  • Transport limits, quantity, project schedule and division of supply responsibilities.

05 / QUESTIONS

Data Center Containers FAQ

Is a data center container delivered as a complete operating data center?

A complete operating data center is not the default scope. TOPWAY® BOX supplies the enclosure and the provisions stated in the quotation. IT, electrical and cooling equipment responsibilities must be agreed explicitly.

Can the enclosure support a liquid-cooled layout?

Liquid-cooling interface requirements can be reviewed as part of piping, equipment opening and internal layout planning. Provide the cooling supplier’s drawings and service requirements; cooling equipment and performance are separate matters.

What determines the container size?

Rack arrangement, loaded equipment, maintenance clearances, cooling interfaces and transport restrictions all inform the dimensions. The required IT capacity alone is not enough to define an enclosure.

Does the enclosure have a data center tier rating?

No tier rating or complete-facility certification is implied. If a project requires a particular standard or assessment, define the requirement and the responsible parties before agreeing the enclosure scope.
